Setup:
Groups of 5
3 grids of 8x8
Extra balls around grid
4v0 (same as 4v1 but with no defender)
4v1 Activity:
4 players on lines around 1 defender.
2 touch mandatory. Must receive with farthest foot.
If defender wins the ball they become attacker. They also get out of middle if someone receives on wrong foot.
Ball back in play in 1-2 seconds.
Coaching Points:
+ Give advice (communicate)
+ Adjacent player MUST slide to nearest cone to create passing angle
3v1:
No touch restrictions, just play keepaway.
Work inside the grid.
Create angles and receive with furthest foot.

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Setup:
20x15 grid (2 grids going)
3v3 in the middle + 2 wide targets
Activity:
Team in possession tries to get ball from target to target.
5 passes = 1 goal
If defense wins ball, switch roles (transition)
Coaching Points:
Receive with farthest foot.
Face the way you want to play.
Create angles (sharpen).
In-possession: get as big as possible
Out-of-possession: make play predictable (force backwards or sideways)
Point out positions (6,8,10 in middle, outside backs or outside forwards outside)
Progression:
Make the game positional and directional -- 4-man backline swinging ball side to side trying to play into Defensive Midfielder

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Setup:
3 teams of 5 (extra players can be wide neutral)
Two 20x15 grids separated by channel (as shown)
1 ball
Activity:
1 team on defense sends 2 (progress to 3) defenders into a grid where attacking team plays 5v3. Other 2 defenders stay in channel and try to intercept passes.
If attacking team loses ball, they become defenders (transition).
If attacking team completes 5 passes, they can switch the play to other attacking team.
Coaching Points:
+ Receive with farthest foot. Maximize space. Give advice. Sharpen angles.
+ Identify positions (3 CM + OF + CF) - point out 3 CMs role to maintain the triangle.
+ Opposite field players should be working to maximize space and finding passing lanes.
+ Defenders should be cutting off passing lanes.
+ When defense wins ball they need to quickly play into other side to relieve pressure and get shape
Progressions:
+ Remove pass requirement to allow switching anytime

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Setup:
40x20 grid at half
Two teams of 5v5 in middle + 2 neutrals on ends (CB & CF)
1 ball
Activity:
Team in possession tries to get ball in all 3 zones (wide, middle, wide). If successful, outside back overlaps and team goes to goal.
Coaching Points:
+Maximize space
+Face the way you want to play
+wide player should drive inside to give overlapper room

Warm-up (30 mins)
15 minutes -- FIFA 11+ Warm Up
5 minutes -- Ball Mastery (choose a couple)
+ inside 5x5 grid: tick-tock+crutff, toe-tap+pull-backs, sticky tape, pull-push, pull-push-behind, step-over touch, rolls, brazilian toe taps, snakes (inside/out), sekan (outside/in), cryuffs
10 minutes - 1v1 shield + 3v1 possession
Setup:
4 8x8 grids
1v1 in each grid, 2 neutrals move around grid to grid
1 ball in each grid
Activity:
1v1 in the grid to maintain possession of ball.
2 neutrals move around to play 3v1 --> complete 5 passes and then find a new grid.
Play for 1 minute then rotate neutrals.
Progression:
Play with only 1 ball so 1v1 in grid becomes losing your marker.
Coaching Points:
+ Hide the ball when shielding.
+ Keep the ball moving. Use fakes to buy yourself time.
+ Communication is key since person on ball will have head down.
