Reflection.
Players used Penybont youth team
DESCRIPTION.. What happend.....
Using 15 players and 1 goalkeeper
Session worked well, the players involved picked up the principles very quickly.
After showing demonstrations and using a question and answer approach the team did take the patterns and principles on board and the objectives were achieved very quickly.
Feelings....
Before.. I knew I had to rely on the other coach for a little while to keep other players involved unitl they were needed
During... Midfielders were very bright and allowed me to concentrate on more detailed things as they were more advanced than I thought they would be.
During the 20 minute phase it was clear that they had took everything on board that I had asked of them. As well as the imagination and creavity was excellent
After..Players realised that thier movement wasnt always just to receive the ball, but also to create space for others..
EVALUATION.
Good. Players understanding and their movement to effect the pass. Wide players and striker had understanding to give space and then good movement to receive ball
Bad. It took a lot of reminding to keep the tempo and movements game realistic . During the Function
Analysis... How I influenced session....
Observing palyers and thier movement. Diagonsing patterns of movement in the function and reinforcing them in the phase.
Vocally giving instruction and just the odd reminders.
Conclusion...
Session was excellent all players enjoyed and learnt from it
Action Plan..
Next time I conduct this session I will start slightly more advanced and divide the area into 4 quarters and only allowing one player in each area within the function
Limitations..
Not all players were incorporated until 15 minutes into the session. Relied on the other coach to keep players active

Aims
Transfer ball from one end to the other to score

Progressions
1 Blues will have one player in each half and reds have to play through both zones to find end man
(always having 2 players in one half and 1 in the other, allowed to rotate)
2 Blues can move anywhere in area. Reds can receive ball from nuetral player but do not have to play through both areas, can go direct to opposite nuetral player.
3 Reds have free play, take out middle area, nuetral players can go direct to each other if able to do so.
Coaching Points
Angles and movement to receive pass.
Rotation and recognising space.
Movement for unselfish runs, not receiving pass, but allowing others to get on the ball.
