Learning outcomes:

Organization: 10x20 yd area. 1 ball per player. 7 cones setup in 10x10 diamond.
Instructions:
Players start with eye contact. Dribble at cone to their right as they see it, scissors, take away across and end at the back of opposite line.
A. Scissors.
B. Double scissors.
Coaching Points:
Still teaching scissors technique as per the warm up.
Direction of take away touch.
Accelleration after the move.
Progressions:
Make 4 lines. 1 line at top and bottom of each diamond. Players execute scissors and dribble across. Go to both cones on the right and left. Switch after a few minutes each side.

Organization:
-Two 20x20 grids
-Half of players need soccer balls on one side of the grid.
Instructions:
-1v1 in each grid, player passes in and becomes defender, attacker receives.
-Attacker try to bring the ball across opposing line.
-Switch lines.
Coaching Points:
1. Protect the ball (put body between defender and ball)

Progressions:
(1). No score kept. (2). Play game- defender steals ball and dribbles across 1 point, attacker dribble across 1 point.

Organization: 4v4 (40x30 yd area) No goalkeepers. Play for 5 minutes then rotate teams.
Instructions:
Swap players in 3 minute intervals.

Warm up (10 mins)
Organization: cones spaced with 15 yards apart randomly or in a square as shown. Each player with a ball. Pair of players stand facing each other 5 yards away from their cone.
Instructions: players start facing each other at a red cone, take 7 large steps away from their red con and this is their starting distance. At the same time players dribble at the red cone, scissors, take away to the right of the cone and comp. and restart with eye contact.
Coaching Points:
