Session Objective:

Three teams. One defender in a grid with their teammates in the nurtal zone (sea). After 4 passes you play it across the sea into the other grid. If the defender wins the ball or those in the sea intercept the ball they pass it into the opposite grid and the team that lost the ball become the defensive team and the team that one the ball takes over the grid of the team that lost it.

Look for the number up situations.
Every time the ball moves look for the open space and number situation
Don't play into pressure
Play the way you are facing when you receive the ball

Coaching Points: Each player will have 2 bibs of two different colors. After a ball is passed to a player and before it gets to the receiving player the receiving player must look for the next person in line to see what color they are holding up and call that color. Once the receiving player has the ball at their feet the person they are going to pass to drops their bib.

Check your shoulder and call the color before you receive the ball
When they get the hang of it start adding ball and play chase.
Go slow at first until they get used to it.
