The Session: 45 x 30 yards
-Players keep the positions as above
-Three players from the defending team press the ball creating a 5v3 situation in the defensive area.
-Two players remain in the central area trying to stop the forward pass.
-Work on composure and movement until the right situation arises to play a forward pass to the other side of the field to the five attacking players.
-Attacking players should move and become available for a pass.
- If the ball is stolen by the yellow team from a team, they must try and pass the ball to their teammates at the centre.
- The team that loses the ball tries to regain possesion (press) before the ball is passed to the central area.
Variation - Can add goalkeepers in the middle to make the forward pass harder to get through.

Session - Playing out from the back - Half Field
Players play 7v7 in the large area and 1v1 in the recieving zone.
The ball starts with the GK, who passes out to their team, the team try to get it to the player in the recieving zone with a pass through one of the three gates.
If the defending team win the ball and score a goal then the teams swap roles.
Progression -
Blue goal is worth 1 - Point, Red goals are 3 points
Cones are removed and replaced with two target goals

Look to move forward quickly when possible

The Session - 8 v 7 - 15 players - As big as we can.
The ball will be served in by the Coach to the attacking team, to any attacking player.
The attacking team look to pass to create an opening to score in the big goal.
If the defending team win the ball, the look to score in the smaller goals.
Both teams can use Netural Wide players - Reds as overlapping full backs - Whites as wingers looking to score.
Neutrals can't be tackled but can pressed.
Progressions:
Ball can be played into any player to start.
Defending team can also play to the coach for a point as well.

*Body shape , recieving foot
*Movement
*Head Up
*Proactive
Progressions:
1 - If the attacking team make 10 passes, then both attacking teams get 1 point.
- If the defending team win the ball, they look to either score in any of the goals - 1 point or connect 3 passes for 2 points. If they suceed then they now become attackers, swapping as they did earlier.
- Teams keep their points and the team with the lowest amount of points at the end have a forfeit.

*What do we have to consider about when passing the ball (Weight, accuracy, timing, tempo)?
*What can we do to be in the best position to recieve a pass? (Positioning, Body Shape)
*What do we do before, during and after making a pass? (Movement/Communication, Control/Pass, Stand/Move)

Warm Up - 3 lines 35 Yards long, cones every 5 yards.
Jog across the field and return to the start - super slow
Easy jog 35 yards - 60% (backpedal to start)
Medium jog 35 yards -75% (backpedal to start)
Fast jog 35 yards - 90% (backpedal to start)
Open the gate - Return close the gate
Side shuffle down - Return side shuffle *face the same way both times
FIgure 4 glute stretch - Return with crossover calf stretch
Quad stretch - Return with “world’s greatest”
Sprint 2 cones up, back pedal 1 back - Return with jump headers
Easy build up over 10 yards, sprint 10, shut it down for 10
