Session 1 - Receiving - FP - Segment 2-7
SET UP: Rebound box (could be a wall at home), 1 football
KEY POINTS:
1) Receiving and chop: Same as the previous two exercises. Pass the ball to the wall and receive it with opening your hips up. Get back to the center with a chop. Use one foot at a time. 100 repetitions each foot.
2) Receiving and roll: Same as the previous exercises. Pass the ball to the wall and receive it with opening your hips up. Get back to the center rolling the ball. Use one foot at a time. 100 repetitions each leg.
3) Receiving (Outside) and roll: Pass the ball to the wall and receive it with your outside part of your foot and then roll back to the middle. Use one foot at a time. 100 repetitions each leg.
4) Receiving and stepover: Pass the ball to the wall and receive it with your inside part of your foot and do a stepover right after the touch. Use one foot at a time. 100 repetitions each leg.
5)Receiving and Scan: Pass the ball to the wall. Do a quick scan over your soulder before receiving. 100 repetitions each leg. If you want to make it more difficult you can place someone behind you showing different number with his hand. Every time you turn make sure you shout the number loud.
6)Receiving Chop: Pass the ball to the wall. Shape your body quickly and receive the ball with a chop. 100 repetitions each foot.
