Key words: One touch, use both feet, speed it up if you feel comfortable
Guided Questions: 1. Why do we use both feet? 2. How can we receive the ball on the run? 3. What foot do you pass with?
Answers: 1.To improve our ability to use both feet. 2. Time your run correctly. 3.The one that allows you to play the ball naturally in one touch.

Objective: Coach the defenders (RED) to create problems for the attackers by knowing when to press, getting compact and staying compact.

Instructions: Play a game with regular rules. Start with 10 balls being played only from the blue goal line. After the the 10 reps, play from where the ball goes out. Blue scores by controlling the ball inside the zone.
Key words: Get/stay compact, pressure, cover and work together.
Guided Questions: 1. Who pressures the ball and why? 2. Why do we move together to defend? 3. How do we defend when going 1v1?
Answers: 1. The defender closest to the ball, to prevent the player on the ball from moving it forward. 2. To stay compact and deny/close any openings. 3. Make play predictable. Show them one direction/ guide them towards sideline or pressure. Delay until help arrives.
