Playing out from back in 3-2-3 (9v9) 7v4. 7 try to play into small goals or combine with the coach to score. 4 try to score on big goal with the keeper.
- wingers start high and move to support as needed
- fullbacks don't get all the way over to touchline (stay about 2 big steps away, for an angle to play to wingers)
- as ball shifts to fullbacks, CB needs to drop at an angle to support and opposite full back anticpates receiving the next pass from CB
- as ball shifts, CM needs to present themselves on an angle to the ball, with body shape open to play forward on first touch, or backwards on first touch if square to ball
- fullbacks/CB look to play into striker's (coach's) feet to combine with wingers to play out

SAQ (Speed, Agility and Quickness) (10 mins)
Aim: To improve players speed, agility and their ability to move dynamically.
Drill: Players are given different movements through the ladder e.g. single step in ladder, two steps in ladder, sideways etc.
Once the player moves through the ladder the coach plays them a pass, the player first touch needs to be outside the line of the cones, with their second being a pass back to the coach.
Key Points: The focus during the fast feet phase is on the player being light on their feet and executing the skill with fast, controlled movements.
The focus for the first touch phase is getting the ball out of their feet to the side and making an accurate pass back to the coach.
Some groups will use cones or poles instead of ladders. The drill still follows the same focus.
