Drill # 1

1. GK starts 2 yrds. in front of cones.

2. GK runs across the goals

3. GK Dives diagonally back to push the ball wide.

Drill # 2

1.GK starts in the middle of the goal.

2. S1 says go and GK move towards post.

3. S1 Plays a rolling ball for the GK.

4. GK dives diagonally back to deflect wide.

    **S1 will then play a bouncing ball, then a medium height ball**

Drill # 3

1.  GK moves to near post angle

2.  S1 Shoots far post

3.  GK moves across the goal and dives to deflect wide.

1. S1 Throws a high ball To GK at the near post

2. GK Throws to S3 feet.

3. GK Shuffles back, quickly to starting point

4. GK takes up an angle for a shot from S3

5. S3 decides to pass ball to S2

6. S2 Shoots on GK.

7. Repeat from opposite side

Deflection Drill:

1.  Red1 server gives ball to GK

2. GK take ball to cone and puts it down.

3. S1 Shoots near post

4.  GK Saves/Deflects wide.

5.  Red2 passes ball from cone to S2

6.  GK gets up and transitions to S2 shot

7.  S2 Shoots far posts.

8.  GK Save/Defects the ball wide

9.  Repeat 4 times and switch.
