Pre Warm up (15 mins)

Set up: In an area of 20 by 30 yards marked with cones have 2 or 3 players in each team in different color pinnie short and balls

Activity: Play a 2v2 or 3v3 game

Individual Warm up: Y Passing Long (15 mins)

Set up: Have Y shape grid with poles 15 yards on the bottom and large cones 10 yards on the top. Have 3 grids, with a minimum of 5 players each 

Activity: The play starts with player A passing the ball to player B, player B passes back to A who then pass to player C, who pass to player B in front of the cone, passing to D to complete the sequence. Alternate sides to get all players involved 

Coaching Points: One touch pass, weighted pass, passing accuracy

Technical Warm up: One touch finishing (30 mins)

Set up: Have 2 poles in the penalty area line and cones 10 yards apart in a triangle shape in 4 areas of the grid. Have 2 goals, goalkeepers and balls

Activity: Player A shows in front of the poles, player B passes the ball, and player B moves outside the cones, they combine a pass, and player B sends a through ball to player A to finish. Players will rotate in all 4 areas

Coaching points: Movement off the ball. Communication verbal and non verbal. One touch finishing.

Expanded Activity: 6v6v6+2GK (30 mins)

Set up: In an area of 40 by 50 yards two goals, with diagonal flat cones in each corner. Have 3 teams of 6 players in different color pennie shirts, a goalkeeper and balls. 2 teams will be on the middle of grid, while the neutral team will be in each of the 4 corners and 2 players in the middle of the pitch.   

Activity: Play a possession game with players limited to 3 touches using the neutral players. Keep scores to make it competitive.

Coaching points: Passing accuracy. Movement on and off the ball. Communication verbal and non verbal
