Session Organization:
- Two rectangular zones about 10x25yards. Teams are in 3's with one neutral for player count. Ball is played into the zone, with 3 going to press vs 4IP. IP Team's objective is to successfully move the ball from one wide zone (one player can enter the zone with no defender able to enter) to the other wide zone while crossing through the central area. Once moved from one end to the other, the ball must be played into the next zone to gain a point and initiate the next team to assume the objective under pressure. If the OP team wins the ball, they have 10 seconds to score in the small goal for a point.
- In Progression 2 of this exercise, the team on the other side waiting to receive the ball, can enter their wide zone up to their half line. If the IP team is able to find them without interception, both IP teams will have earned a point.
Technical Points:
- Appropriate utilization of the wide zones, in addition to the +1 in the zone.
- Looking for player movement off of the ball, are we making double movements to create openings?
- Appropriate use of the central zone to generate advancement opportunities. Vertical usage.

Session Organization:
- Identical zone to 18yard box, 6v4 with switching play and finding a through ball being the primary goal. Once the through ball is played as illustrated, the player who played the pass can make an attacking run inside the area, accompanied by the opposing wide player. One OP player may track inside to defend.
Technical Points:
- Attacking action creation, are we switching play to create openings in the back four?
- How quickly are we identifying these key opportunities?
- Is the service quality and finish quality to standard?
Keywords:
- Double Movement
- Through Ball (line break)
- Defensive Slide/Shift (are we shifting to cover these attacking opportunities).

Session Organization:
- 40x30 pitch size, with about 5yd wide zone on both pitch sides for the neutral wide players. match is directional to full size goals, scoring can only take place after the ball has connected with both sides. Shots must be behind the 7yard line as there will be no keepers available for the session.
- In progression 2, set the constraint that by the time the ball has switched from one side to the other, the next action must be a service into the box for a finish.
Technical Points:
- Passing connections with pace
- Timing the switch play
- #'s forward once switch has initiated.
