Session Objectives:
Fun games, high activity with lots of action that engages young players.

Warm Up - Stuck in the Mud
- Inside the pitch allocate 1 or 2 players to be taggers
- Remaining players are trying to avoid the taggers whilst staying inside the area
- If player is tagged they are frozen to the spot. Stand with legs and arms apart.
- Players can be unstuck if a teammate runs under their arm or crawls through their legs
- Change taggers every 1 minute
After 5-10 minutes send players for a drink then add the progression:
Progression:
- Give each player a ball, taggers hold their ball in their hands
- Remaining players are trying to avoid the taggers by dribbling
- Taggers are trying to hit players ball with their ball using hands
- If players ball gets hit they are stuck, place the ball above their heads and spread legs apart
- Player can become unstuck when another player dribbles their ball through their legs

Ouch!
- Inside the area every player has one ball
- Players are trying to dribble close to the coach and hit the coach with their ball
- Coach is constantly changing direction and moving away to force young players to dribble
- Pause the game every 30 seconds to quiz kids on coaching points
- Reward players that are moving and trying to get close
Progression
- If coach gets hit three times he explodes with rage, when this happens kids have to run away from the coach without getting their ball kicked away. Coach can add safe zones (for the players to run into).
- Once everyone is safe return to normal and challenge players to hit the coach three more times to make him angry again

Match
- Setup 4 Match Pitches
- 3v3 or 4v4
- Goal keepers (optional)
- Reccomend 1 coach per pitch (total 4 coaches)
- If ball goes out on the sideline coach can add in new ball OR players pass/dribble ball back in play
- Opposing team retreats back to own half for goal kicks

- Setup 4 match pitches approx 30 x 20
- Setup cone goals / mini goals (2 on each pitch)
- Each group will practice on one pitch
- One group of 8-12 per coach
- Spare coaches can assist
