Organisation:
1 / Final 3rd (40x70m).
2 / 1 Server, 2 Wingers, 1 Striker & 1 GK.
3 / Server (S) plays ball into either winger repeatedly and alternately.
4 / Wingers - blue line indicates run - play a variation of crosses (high, low, near, far post both from deep and advanced positions).
5 / ST place pressure on keeper (must start run from outside box to create realism).
Team Objectives:
1 / WHITE - Winger recieves ball & plays ball to ST to score.
2 / GREEN - Collect ball and play back to server.
Key Factors:
1 / Start Position - On balls of feet, hands ready at waist level & open stance for 180 degree turns.
2 / GK position in relation to goal.
3 / Flight Judgement - Trajectory.
4 / Meet the ball - Cleanly at highest point.
5 / Take off with momentum if at all possible (dependant on cross).
6 / Punching - If unable to meet ball cleanly (e.g. due to pressure from oncoming ST).
7 / Communication - Command of 18 yard box (6 yard box especially) loud and clear.
