Coaching Points: Position of standing foot is important to contact on the ball, too far behind the ball at impact the ball is likely to be skyed above the goals, to far in front lack of power, too far wide of the ball shot likley to be dragged wide. Point of contact foot to ball with laces for power, with side of foot for placement. Head down, eyes on the ball. Passes must have good weigh/direction infront of striker

Area: 20 x 30 with half way line and tow goals Players; 8-16 divded into groups of 4 + two goal keepers.
Explanation: Two zones; 4 (including GK) v 1 in each zone, players can not move between zones, other players are on side line. Play starts with GK and players are encouraged to shoot as quickly as they can from with their zone, single attacker in opposite zone is looking for any rebounded off the GK (poacher goal), this player can be played in. If team scores they restart play, if their shot misses play starts with opposing GK. Double points for first time shot, tripple for poacher goal. If team scores the defensive team is replaced by players on the side
Step Up: 4 v 2 Step Down increase width
Coaching Points: Perception: position of defender; where is the space to allow time to shoot Decision: Can I shoot first time, Can I set team mate up to shoot first time Execution: First time shot on target, weight direction of pass to set up team mate to shoot.

Area: 30 x 40 with half way line and two goals Players; 8-16 divded into two teams with keepers.
Explanation: Normal same play starts with GK. Team scores three points for goals from within their own half, two points for a poachers goal, one point for a normal goal. If team scores they restart play, if their shot misses play restarts with opposing GK.

SB Skill Introduction (5 mins)
Area: 20 x 30 two goals Players; 8-16 players
Explanation: Set up as shown. Three players lined up ready to strike the ball in turn at each position A, they receive a ball passed in turn from a player lined up at position B, Player A can take a touch nut must shoot from behind the yellow markers (representing 18 yard box) for goal to count, once player A has had a strike on goal they retreive the ball and move to position B, player B moves to position A.
Progression: rotate passing from C, D and E positions. Take Position A back 2-5 metres
