Tecnical Passing
1 ball between 2 players
1player is sitting down with bottom of the feet behind the ball (bended knees) the other player stands directly in front. Working on blocking. First step is to line up directly behind the ball and take 3 steps back. Next player standing runs up to the ball and works on standing leg- it has to be next to the ball and toe needs to point straight behind (to specific target) - next incorporate blocking (passing) both knees need to be slightly bent with standing leg for balance. making sure blocking foot is using inside of the foot and pointing toe to bent knee, this will lock the ankle.
Coaching Points:
Make it a competition, competition has to go fast so kids sitting down dont get bored. Involve kids sitting down in the competition (in teams of 2) If sitting down players make sure their team mates have all technical points down. Then switch, and do it again with the new group.
