Description
Build off last practice I will introduce the team to the 3rd man weave. Players must be able to execute their overlapping movements while the ball is playing forward. I will also introduce the concept of interchanging positions when in possession of the ball.

3rd man weave (15 mins)
Organization
-30x20 field
-players in 2 colors
-players in groups of 3
Instructions
Coaching Points
1. Player A will make a pass to player B then make an overlapping run
2. Player B will take a touch inside then pass to player C and make an overlapping run
3. Player C will pass to player A and make an over lapping to continue the passing pattern
4. after players reach the opposite side another group of 3 players will go the opposite way

-add a GK and group of 3 must score vs GK 1st touch

interchange to goal (25 mins)
Organization
- half of the field with a goal and GK
- split team into 2 teams
Instructions
1. teams play a 4v3 towards goal
2. #8 will start the play by playing a pass to any teammate
3. encourage and demonstrate several overlapping movements to create space and overloads towards goal
4. if GK saves the ball or defensive teams regains ball they must build out the back and score on either pug goals
5. players rotate every position after each round

- team must set themselves with 3 lines of attack defense- midfield- forward
-observe game and let players make decisions
-if necessary step in and guide players on when to dribble, pass or shoot
-most importantly naturally enforce topic that was practiced on today's session
