Protect the Gates:
All players in the red are defenders and have two gates they need to protect. Their aim is to stop the blue attackers from dribbling through the red cones. However they cannot move away from the gates, they have to defend in a crab like style (side on). Once they have tackled a blue, they leave the ball and try to stop another player.
Blues aim is to keep the ball with close control and dribble through the red cones. If they are tackled they must find another red gate to go through. If they make it though, they have to make it back to the middle by going the different coloured cone. Once they make it back, they have to do it again but through a different gate.
Change the attackers and defenders every 1minute.

The Zipper Drill
The Zipper will test all of the players co ordination and observation. The players run into the middle of the area, however the lines they are in, cross over with one another. This means players have to time their run to make sure they go one at a time and do not bump into another participant. Eventually they will understand the pattern in which they need to run, this means you need to progress and add a ball each. (Left foot, right foot, insides only, soul only).
Switch Ball.
In this game you have players on the outside and the inside of the circle (more players on the outside than in to give more options). Each player on the outside has a ball, the players on the inside must communicate with a player from the outside to receive the ball and return the pass to the same outside player. Every 1 minute swap over, this allows more rotation and less time spent on the outside.
Every 23 goes, change the return pass. For example: Head the ball back, weak foot return, volley back to hands.
