1 vs 1 drill - two touch finish
The server will begin with the ball behind the mannequin. The server is allowed two touches only, one to take it past the mannequin and the second for a strike on goal
The server can go either left or right side
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Progressions to both angles adding a bit of positioning work for the goalkeeper
Another progression is the drill after - the striker is allowed three touches. Therefore is enabled to come closer towards goal and has more options of how to score, making it more challenging for the goalkeeper
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
Can the goalkeeper identify whether to close down the space, come out and smother or set and deal with the strike on goal
Can the goalkeeper make it difficult for the server by getting angles and positioning correct
