Activation (5 mins)

Activation:

  • Fun activation game focusing on fast reaction movements
  • 1 GK working, other 3 serving.
  • Servers serve with hands and can serve either side and any height. Encourage fast services as soon as GK is back on their feet. Servers can fake to add a reactive element.
  • 2 or 3 serves from each server
  • Aim is to be fun but also high repetition of reactive decisions

Unannounced (10 mins)

Organisation:

  • Place lots of cones (some tall and some small) into the central area of the goal mouth, approx 4-6 yards out. 
  • Serves split either side approx 10-12 yards out.
  • Servers take a touch inside and strike low, aiming on target but also trying to hit the cones.
  • GK's must use footwork and reactions to save the shots
