THE SESSION: Skill Training - 1v1 to score
Setup fields as above, 4x5m. Split players into 2 teams.
Defenders start on Red cone, attackers start on orange cone.
Coach plays ball in from the side to attacker. 1v1 for attacker to score in either goal.
Can't score outside Green cones.
PROGRESSIONS:
Have players start lying down facing away from feld, give each player a number. Coach calls number and those players enter 1v1 game.
Keep score.
KEY MESSAGES/POINTS:
Use skills to beat the defender to score.

8v8 with overload player.
Use Tactics board to discuss areas where players should look for 1v1 opportunities.
20 minutes halves.

Skill Intro - Gauntlet (15 mins)
THE SESSION: Skills Intro - Gauntlet
Setup two lanes 4ms wide, 6ms long.
Coach in each lane, players one after the other use their ball mastery skills to get past the coach, who acts as a passive defender.
Players should cycle through quickly.
PROGRESSIONS:
Have players try a differnet 1v1 technique each run. Any player that doubles up does a push up.

Put ball mastery skills into practice.
