THE SESSION:Players partner up with 1 ball per pair. Player A serves the ball to player B to be returned with a volley from a particular surface. Laces, instep, thigh using both feet and legs. After each volley the player runs backwards around cone and back to start to receive next serve. Repeat to each surface 3 times. Switch roles after each surface.
PROGRESSIONS: Have players receive with specific surface (include chest if appropriate) and get ball to the ground for a quick return pass. Still do the work between serves.
KEY MESSAGES/POINTS:Control the serve. Stress athleticism and softer touches to maintain tight possession. Possession more important than speed for the routine.

THE SESSION: Possession with 3 teams.
The defending teams must have a bib before they can defend. The other 2 teams try to keep possession. Once the defending team wins the ball or forces it out of play they drop the bibs and transition to offense while the team that lost the ball picks up a bibs and transitions to defense.

THE SESSION:
- 3v2 w/ GK.
- Defending team plays ball to Attacking team. Normal play until ball is out or scored.
- If Defenders win the ball, look to score in mini goal.

- Enjoy having the ball, be fearless and creative.
- Quick rotation of players to enhance tempo.

Skills with Movement:
Split players into 2 groups
One group is outside the circle with the ball and the other team starts inside the circle.
The coach will tell the players inside the circle what they will be working on.
Two touch return pass. One touch return pass. Volleys with instep. Bounce ball and run through it. Receive pass and find open player to turn it to.
The cylce goes for 1 minute with players in the center resetting there each time before finding a new partner.
Coach encourage game speed approaching the player serving the ball and recovery speed as the check back to the middle.
