Description

What: Out of posession the team needs to prevent the opponet from playing forward and building out from the back and recover the ball

Where: Close to the opponents goal

Who: Attackers and Midfielders

When: When the CB and FB get the ball and are trying to go forward

Why: The team to be able to be compact and pressure intensively and coordinated against a team that is spread out and trying to play the ball out with passes and dribbling. Forward players need to recognize best moments to pressure and force the opponent to play the ball centrally. Midfield players need to be close to players that are a passing option to overwhelm opponent. Once ball is recover we should create a scoring chance.
