Building the attack through possession - passing and moving without the ball. Concentrate on technical aspects of first touch and passing. Players should create angles off defenders, breaking lines when possible.

Set-up: Form a Diamond with sticks 15/20 yards apart and a 5th 15/20 yards off the bottom of the Diamond. Players, 4, 2, 3, 6, 8.
Execution: 2 passes to 4 who opens up and receives across his body to set up pass to 3 who receives the ball across his body to pass to 6 who pulls off positioning to play forward to 8 who combines with 6 around the stick.

Coaching Points: Move early and quick to create space, clean first touch indirection of pass, quick firm passes, dynamic movement.

Progression1: Add defender inside diamond.
Execution: based on defenders positioning, the 4 can play either the 3 or the 6. If 3, he plays to 6 and if 6 he lays of to the 3 who then plays the 8 who combines with the 6.
Progression 2: Add 2nd defender who marks the 6.
