Description - as soon as the Yellow player releases his shot, 2 blues immediately attack the Yellow goal. The Yellow player who shot, immediately has to defend against the 2 blues.
Technical - Blues - attack at pace. Red - line of recovery, assess the threat, stay between the ball and the goal.
Tactical - Red - Delay the attack, prevent the shot.
Physical - pace of recovery after the shot
Psychological/Social - mentality to DEFEND! Bravery to block shot or make the tackle.

Description - shown using 5 v 5 + 2 Floaters. Floaters play for the team in possession. Diagram shows Yelllows attacking the bottom goal. Final pass goes through to a blue who dribbles forward and plays to Orange floater. Yellows are now 2 men down and must defend.
Technical - Team in possession controls the TEMPO of the game.
Tactical - If the defence are organised (compact) keep the ball and probe for an opening. If you can attack quickly whilst the other team are recovering, be direct.
Physical - Match paced running and game specific movements.
Psychological/Social - Game specific situations. Decision making, whether to press the ball or drop off. Where to "show" the attacker.
Learning Objectives - How to defend as an individual/unit when outnumbered.
When you regain the ball, how to exploit the defensive weakness (numbers down).

Warm Up (15 mins)
Description - Warm up session. Servers on the outside play ground passes (2), left foot, right foot, then inside players spin to get another ball from an outside player. Change over & repeat. Continue this with low wide volleys (ball served outside the line of the body), high instep volleys, thigh passes, chest-volley, headers or any combinations that you need.
Technical - control the intensity as it is only a warm up. Insist on good technique.
