Coaching Points
In Possession
- Playing into / Onto - The GK is working on varying their ball flight to have a higher ball flight and a flatter ball flight to find S1 and when crossing into the box to fly the ball into different areas of the 6 yards box.
- First Touch - The players in the wide areas work their first touch by having to control balls played into them using a variety of different ball flights and pass types
- Support position - The GK will use different supporting angles to play back passes to start the practice (P1)
Out of Possession
- Momentum - The GK must explode through the ball and ensure that they do not take off and land in the same place. The GK is encouraged to be on the front foot and build momentum
- Interception Point - Reading the game to call
- Cross Reading - From the first touch and the ball position out of the feet to understand the type of cross likely to face from the wide areas and the half spaces
Transition
- Positioning - Returning a good position on the turnover of the ball to still affect the by defend the area
- Counter-attacking - encouraging to claim the cross and find the goal to exploit the opposition's imbalance

Organisation
The GK starts with the ball. The GK looks to clip the ball into the player in our own half. Once the ball has reached S1 they play the ball into 'wingers'. The wingers then combine to get crosses into the box. The wingers must look to combine with Underlaps / Overlaps or setting to cross the first time. The Goalkeeper must look to claim and then distribute to the goals
