Organisation - Blues defend the big goal, try to get the ball into target player ASAP, Whites try to score in the big goal.

Players outside the function play passive, they play 2 touch max.

KEY COACHING POINTS

Balls into the striker

- Organisation of defenders

- Touch tight inside shoulders. Be ready for the possability to step in and intercept ( Whats trigger ? )

- Don't allow the striker to turn ( 4/8 Recovery runs to tackle from the front )

Midfielders - Screening penatrive passes

- Screen the pass into the strikers ( Defenders communicate to CM's "left shoulder' etc)

- Nearest player to the ball - apply pressure ( Cover & Balance from surrounding TM's )

- Get there fast, Arrive slow. Don’t dive in!

What happens if they play a through ball ?

- Track or drop ( Decision )

- Drop on anticipation of a through ball. Creep up on negative passes
