Players dribble straight towards the yellow cone in the center and perform the feint and go to go through the gate and then finish on goal. The next time the player goes they must go through the other gate. The next player can go when the attacker shoots their ball.
Coaching Points:
Carry at speed straight to the defender.
Technique for feint. Player steps next to the ball with the plant foot with their knee bent and shoulder dropped. Then they use the outside of the opposite foot to push the ball away. As the players get more comfortable performing these steps then start to have them really exaggerate the plant and dropping of their shoulder.

Same as previous portion but now a defender, who can win the ball off of the attacker, is added. The defender can only move side to side (stay on the line) during this game. Attackers get a point if they can successfully cross through a gate and they get a point for shooting in the PUG goal. Defenders are awarded a point for keeping the attacker from getting through. The player who was just the attacker in now the defender.

Now the line and the gates are removed and the attacker and defender go 1v1 to PUG goals. The play is still live if the defender wins the ball, they try to score on the other goal. The attacker becomes the defender once the ball is out of play.

Instructions:
Attacker tries to run through either the red gate or the blue gate to get a point. The defender can only move side to side and they try to tag the attacker before they get through the gate. If the defender tags the attacker they are awarded a point. The attacker now becomes the defender.
