Football/Soccer Session (Academy Sessions): Non - Negotables

Organization/Setup:

• 2 v 1
• 15 by 15 square 
• 4 cone goals on the corners
• 1 line of 3 blue players - pressing 
• 3 attacking players ( 1 passing - 2 in grid)

reps should be based on balls each group - should be played 6 balls - then the red team rotates the passer and it repeats.

Instructions/Achievement Criteria:

• one player from the possessing team plays a ball into one of his teammates, as this ball is played a player from the defending team is pressing ( 2 v1 ) 
• the possession team is trying to make 6 passes for a goal
• The defending team is pressing the possession team - if the win the ball they have to dribble through one of the counter goals for a point 
• If the ball goes out of bounds the a new ball is played in - if the possessing team Keeps the ball a new player comes in after 6 passes

Coaching Points/Questions:

• All out press 
• Counter press 

7 v7 non negotiables

• 7 v 7 game
• 2 goals 
• balls around the field 
• build out line 

Instructions/Achievement Criteria:

• All game rules in effect 
• throw ins and re starts must be 3 seconds ( or ball turns over possession) 
• goals scored off high press count as 2 pts ( goal kick) 
• goals scored immediately from a counter press count as 2pt
• goal right off kick off counts as 4 pts
