Organization:-Defensive & middle defensive third of the field
-lots of balls
-8 players( LB, RB, 2 CB's, 1 GK & 2 Wingers, 1 CF)
Instructions: 1. White team plays against blue team in 5 v 3 game with GK.
2. To score, white team must have possession and dribble over into end zone on opposite side. Blue team can shoot and score on GK once they've gained possession.
3. If ball goes out of bounds or goal is scored, restart from GK.
4. Play for a set time period then rotate players.
Coaching Points:-CB's must split the length of 18
-outside fullbacks must push high
-opposite CB must drop to provide option to switch(never flat!)
-power/accuracy of passes(non-kicking foot & follow through to target)
-use GK to switch if necessary
Visual Cues:-RCB gets the ball
-ball goes out of bounds/goal is scored
-position of defenders
-position of ball on the field( can we provide width?)
Progressions:P-add more players/goals
R-defenders are live on second pass

Organization:-3/4 of field set up as shown
-15 players: White-1 GK, 4 defenders, 3 central midfielders, 2 targets
Blue-2 Forwards, 3 Midfielders
-lots of balls
Instructions: 1. White plays vs blue, with white attempting to score by playing to target players on opposite side of field and blue score by beating GK on big goal.
2. Activity starts from white team GK. If ball goes out or goal is scored, play always restarts from white team GK.
3. White team must build from the back and blue team once in possession, can shoot right away on goal.
4. Play for a set time period then rotate players.
Coaching Points:-CB's split
-outside backs push up
-center midfielders rotate
-positioning/support off the ball
-1st option should be to play out to CB, who in turns finds one of the central midfielders, who then finds the ACM, and thus plays to target players.
-2nd option should to play out to CB, who finds central midfielder to create 2 v 1 on defender with outside fullback. Central midfielder then plays through ball to outside full back and he/she plays to target player.
Visual Cues:-RCB gets ball
-positioning of defenders
-ball goes out or goal is scored
Progressions:P-add big goal and opposing GK
R-defenders are active only after CB's pass

-20 players( 9 v 9 with GK's)
-white team: 4-2-3
-blue team: 4-3-2
Instructions: 1. Teams play 9 v 9 aside with GK's. Activity starts with ball from white team GK.
2. White team looks to try to score on blue team's goal/GK on opposite side of field. However, white team needs to connect five passes before they can shoot on goal.
3. Blue team once they win possession, may shoot on opponents goal right away.
4. If ball goes out, or goal is scored; play always restarts from white team's GK.
5. Play for a set time and then rotate players in.
Coaching Points:-CB's split the length of the 18
-Outside fullbacks push high and provide width
-opposite CB must drop to provide support & option to switch
-central player mus drop deep to recieve ball from GK
-lock ankle, body & follow through facing target
-head up
-Central mid field players must rotate
-Wingers must check in
Visual Cues:-CB's are being high pressed
-positioning of defenders
-ball goes out or goal is scored
-Fullbacks have ball & begin to dribble
Progressions:P-play regular full field game without restrictions
R-remove 1 blue Forward

Instructions: 1. teams play 9 v 9 plus GK's.
2. Normal game rules apply( throw ins, goal kicks, etc.)
3. If goal is scored, restart from center circle.
4. Play for a set time.
Coaching Points:-CB's split length of 18
-Fullbacks push high pass opposing team's forwards
-wingers provide width
-central players check to ball
-CF makes diagonal runs

2. Attacking team wins the ball, they can score & shoot on goal. Defending team wins by playing 5 passes together.

4. Play for a set time then rotate players.
Coaching Points:-CB's must split length of 18
-communication
-sideways stance
-power/accuracy of passes(lock ankle, follow through & non kicking foot facing target)
-spacing & positioning(one CB must drop to create passing lane to switch play)
-use GK to switch if necessary
Visual Cues:-GK has ball
-CB receives ball
-distance/positioning of attacker
-Goal is scored/ball goes out bounds
