Masters Practice May 19th

This practice is more attacking/ defending focused. Trying to have as many players moving as possible.                Setting up drills multiple times on the field.

Screen 1 (15 mins)

-Player A passes the ball to player B, and right after takes a lead in towards player B

-Player B then quickly passes the ball back to A

-Player A then passes to player C, who also took a lead towards the ball

-Player C open receives the ball and carries/ dribbles into the cirkel to then take a shot on goal. 

Alternating which side shoots on goal!

2 player per cone

Rotation:

Follow your ball (A to B, B to C and C back to A)

Working on :

Passing, accurate and fast

Receiving, open and closed

Shooting on goal

Screen 2 (15 mins)

Four Shot Goal Scoring Drill:

1. The foward starts at the P spot and runs into the red box to receive a pass (closed reception)for them to stop, pivot, and shoot on the second touch.

2. After taking the first shot the forward runs laterally across the circle receiving a pass on the forehand  from station 2 in front of the cones and continues with the ball to just past the cones where they take a shot on the run.

3. After the second shot the player runs to the P spot for a hard hit from station 3 for them to deflect.

4. The final ball is a bouncing ball from the coach behind the goal for them to flick or push on the second touch.

Progression:

-Round 1 is 4 shots

-Round  2 is 8 shots (repeat the sequence)

-Round  3 the passes from station 1 and 2 go in bouncing and on the 4th shot it must be taken on the first touch.

Screen 3 (15 mins)

4v3 attacking on goal.

Attackers (4) are trying to make triangles and run the base line to goal.  

If defenders (3) get ball they can score on small nets

Screen 4 (15 mins)

7v7 in "zones"

The Defenders, Midfielders and Forwards all have their own zone/box. They cant leave this zone.

Goal is to get the ball from one end to the other without losing the ball. If the other team gets the ball

they can try the same.

Screen 5 (15 mins)

4v4 

There will be 2 player of each team in the box and 2 outside on opposite side. 

Blue can only score by getting the ball from once side of the box to the other, going up- down

Orange can only score by getting the ball from once side of the box to the other, going left- right
