How to Play
The blue start with a ball and attack 3 v 2. When the attack is over the 2 purple go off the field and 2 new purple come on to attack 1 blue in a 2v1. The blue player that is farthest from the goal they are attacking defends. When that attack is over 1 blue defender goes off 3 new blues come onto attack the 2 purple defenders, attack then defend.
Once both teams have had an attack the game restarts with the Blues having the numbers up advantage.

Game Related Practice
Organization:
Each team keeps an attacking player (forward) in the attacking half. Waves of 2 red players come into the field to create a 3v2 against the blues in the attacking half. As the blue team wins the ball or goalkeeper makes a save, the blues look to immediatey counter and get into their attacking half as quickly as possible to create a 3v2 against the reds. Once the 2 attacking players either lose the ball or get a shot on goal, they rotate back to the beginning of their line. Games are played first to 5 goals wins and then change the forward player on each team.
Coaching Points:
forward running, forward thinking, forward passing, isolate 2v1 in the 3v2 situation, commit numbers forward early, create chances as early as possible, crosses in dangerous areas and shots on target
