Theme - Fitness and Movement - Main Idea was group where standing up alot to the recieve ball and playing at a lowe intensity and there was no support play or options for the player in possession. Also General fitness levels were poor so i tried to increase this as much as possible by doing drills with a moving ball at all times.
Session went well but I taught the communication was very poor - no talking or direction in players when playing in particular the 9v 9 game at the end.

Method: Pressure Cooker In a square - Group of 6 Players, 4 on the outside cones receiving ball from attacker - 2 players in the middle one attacker vs one defender - full intensity for 1 minute flat and then players in middle rotate again and swap roles in transition - defender is now attacker and attacker is now defender. Attacker cannot give ball to same cone or player who originally gave ball to attacker. Defenders role is to stop attacker completing pass each time. Each Group of 2 will repeat the process once the first two have gone both attacker and defender for 1 min each They rest on outside cone and pass to attacker once next group of 2 are ready.
Coaching Points: Ensure attacker is working at 100% effort and creating lots of space and movement to recieve ball from outside and lose defender. Defender ideally should not be able to keep up with attacker. Attacker is aware where ball and outside men are - so he should know his next pass before he receives the ball.

Method: Playing out from back - Game always start with keeper in goals looking to pass to either full back right or leftpassing to midfielders and or attackers and object is to reach and score in small goals by dribbling through any of them. If Team without the ball take ball off team in possession they can shoot to score and game restarts with Goalkeeper. Team with the ball must be alert for Transiton to defend if lose the ball and team without ball must be alert to transition to attack.
Coaching Points: Encourage width and depth to create speace creating lots of movement and effective runs, overlaps, blindsided runs, direct runs to help player in possession.

Method: 9 V 9 Game - broken into 3 x 5 mins games - 1st five minutes - only 3 touches only on ball - 2nd five minutes - only 3 seconds allowed on ball - 3rd five minutes - all in no conditions applied
Coaching Points: Encourage and to ensure players used all teammates in possession and advise them that ball moves faster then any player, ball has to be moved quickly otherwise we will be dispossessed overcarrying the ball. Enocurage ball to feet and ball on the ground at all times.

Method: Passing accuracy with movement from one side of the pitch to the other, making sure pass is hit with pace and movement to support the run following the pass. Players A and C pass to the blue cone only - while player B is working hard to receive the ball and provide a good pace to C working between the two blue cones only for 1 minute at half pace to 3/4 pace - then rotate player after each minute and repeat process.
Coaching Points: Ensure players are not jogging slowly and passes are staying within group and finding correct player, ball is always moving.
