Players A & B stand 60 metres apart. At my signal the player A & B begin there runs. Player A will sprint to the end of thier lane and turn back on themselves to complete the sprint. Player B will sprint through the cones and try to catch Player A. The two players then swap.

The player starts with the agility ladder to acheive the "flying start", then Sprints through to the cone where the coach will play a one-two with the player who will then, once playing the one-two will sprint back through and another player will begin the drill.
This drill works on the "flying start" principle where players are not sprinting from standing starts and brings the ball into the sprinting sessions.
- 10 -15 seconds

Player A passes to Player B, Player A then follows the ball. Player B takes a touch, opens their body out to play the ball to Player C and Player C follows those same instructions to play the Ball to Player D. The rotation then

The passing square has now advanced and we have player laying it off for the player running in to play it over to a team mate.
Player B plays the ball to PLayer A who then sprays the ball over to Player C who lays it off to Player B running in to play it to Player D and the drill then works on rotation.

Simple SSG incorporating the training elements we ahave been working on. One team is defending the two small goals whilst the other team is looking to beat the goalkeeper.
- Passing and recieiving. As with the passing squares we are receiving the ball in a tight area and have one touch to control and one touch to pass. Failuire will give your opponant possesion of the ball.
- Also players have to think about their work off the ball. Awaiting to recieve the ball in space will take movement and trying to avoid the tackle/inteception.

When we play these games we are looking for the players to have brought in what we have been working on throughout the session.
We are also looking for high-intensity from the players with a high press.
