Set up:
Three rows of offset dribbling cones running each direction toward two mini-nets
Organization:
1. Players start at the white cones (split half and half facing each direction)
Team/Player Task:
Players take turns dribbling across each row, progressing up the field
After the last row, players take a positive touch and finish with accuracy (finesse) on the mini-net
After shooting, players retrieve their ball and proceed to next line.
Players start when player finishes the second set of cones.
Coaching Points:
- Controlled touches
- Lifting head where possible
- Burst of speed between each row
- Passing technique to finish on net
- Alternate L and R foot finish for each direction
Progressions:
1. Laces dribble
2. R foot only/L foot only
3. Sole rolls
4. Inside only/Outside only
5. Inside, outside, Inside, Outside

Set up:
Rectangle with cones spaced 3-4 yds apart
Organization:
1. 5 players per grid, 3+1 in possession with 1 defender
Team/Player Task:
Possession team (3) plays a 3 v 1 rondo at one end of the rectangle, need to complete 5 passes before switching to the other side.
Team gets points for every switch.
Coaching Points:
- Controlled touches
- Plan your next pass before you receive the ball (think ahead)
- Good first touch
Progressions:
1. 1-2 touches
2. Smaller grid

Set up:
Half filed. Two Y grids running in opposite directions.
Organization:
1. Players starting on each cone, extras line-up at the starting cones
Team/Player Task:
Execute passes, working through progressions.
Follow your pass to move to next position
Coaching Points:
- Communication
- Accuracy of passes, proper technique
- Body position, checking off the cone to call for pass and receive
- Can we weigh our pass so our teammate can meet the ball on their line?
- Can we take our first touch out from our feet to play the ball with our second?
- Can we time our runs to receive the through ball in motion?
Progressions:
1. Player A passes to Player B; Player B takes a touch to Player C, Player C receives the ball in motion and dribbles to starting line.
2. Player A passes to Player B; Player B takes a touch to Player C, Player C plays a 1-2 with Player B
3. Player A plays a 1-2 with Player B; Player A takes a touch to play Player C long, Player C plays a 1-2 with Player B

Two cones `15-20 yds apart
Organization:
1. Players compete in pairs, with one partner at each cone.
Team/Player Task:
Players take turns playing long balls to their partners at the opposite cone; receiving players must settle the ball as close as they can to the cone using 1 touch.
1 pt awarded for each end to the player whos ball is closest to the cone. Game to 7.
Coaching Points:
- Accuracy of passes, proper technique
- Playing the ball out of the air, no bounce
- Can we use our chest, thighs, or feet to control the ball out of the air?
Progressions:
1. Specify which part of the body to receive with.
2. Change the distance between cones.
