Set Up
Start with 1 person on each of the two centre posts. The rest spread out on each corner post. The circuit starts with 4 x balls, one in each corner. Need min 10 players for this to work. Every time a pass is made you follow your pass, complete a one-two and turn to be ready for the next pass into you. Keep the circuit going and repeat in the opposite direction.
Progressions
Start with one-two's at each post. Then progress so that when you're at the middle posts you don't one-two instead you receive the ball on the back foot, take it around the post and pass to the next post. Outside posts continue with one-two's. To finish with, allow players to recevie/ pass with one-two or not as a free-play element. Encourage some flair and flicks at this point, quality high however.
Key Points
Quality of pass, receiving and movement. Good weight of pass, sharp and desicive. Good bounce passess, take the pace out of the ball, cushion the one-two. Half a yard back, full yard forward to receive off the post. Move the ball quickly, run quickly.

Set Up
Start the pattern with only 1 x ball to start with to get the understanding of where they pass and where they move to. When understanding improves, introduce 2 x balls and start at the same time from both ends. One touch as much as possible.
Progressions
Start with one ball, then bring in two - circuit should be happening on both side at the same time
Key Points
High tempo, move the ball quickly, run quickly. Weight of pass, angle to receive, play off the ball, constant movement

Set Up
2 x teams. Make sure one team is overloaded to create the scenrio of having an outnumbered situation in the middle of the pitch, i.e 4-4-2 vs 4-5-1. Challenge to team with an extra player: Can you double up on support from the overload and keep the ball moving (playing off the ball) combining and playing progressive football through the thirds? Quick, desicive combination play. Challenge to team with one less player: Can you look to bypass the areas of overload, for example the central area, and find CF who can link up with suppor runners (3rd man runs)?
Progressions
Bring in offside lines right away. One touch finish for overload team. Whole-part-whole session. Part = patterns of play in a circuit fashion with patterns for each team, some instructed and some improvised by players, work on it, revise, review and give player feedback throughout. Focusing on roles and responsibilities of CF, inside forward, CM and overlapping FB
Key Points
Overload team: Play off the ball, keep the ball moving (less travelling with ball, more pass and move), be progressive with the combination play, double up on support using overload advantage to stretch opposition. Under-loaded team: Use CF to link up play, play quickly to CF and work off of him, timing of support runs in front and from behind, be positive and desicive.

Set Up
4 x boxes, you decide how long you want the sprints to be, so space out boxes as you see fit.
Progressions
Repeat in sets of two to accomodate both directions clockwise/anti-c-w. Bring the ball in so instead of tagging the person to begin the sprint race, they run, put the foot on the ball, which acts as a 'hand over' to the other person to run with the ball and race thereafter.
Key Points
Stay low when turning, small quick steps, don't start the sprint until you've been tagged by the person running towards you.

Set Up
4 x cones (2 blue, 2 red for example) - you decide distance, but short and quick is the general idea. Players must pass the ball through the cone gate to opposite player whilst at the same time calling out a colour. The player who receives the ball sharply takes the ball to the cone of the colour and again passes it through the gate whilst calling out a colour for the other player.
Progressions
Key Points
Quick, fast play. Receiving different parts of foot, weight of pass, one touch to take in direction of chosen coloured cone and fast return, move sharply and pass with purpose
