Activity:
-GK in goal places ball down as if taking a goal kick
-Aim is to pass ball through the mannequins into me, if succesful I play a first time ball to server on the angle who will strike at goal
-If ball doesn't make it through mannequin I am shooting one of the balls at the side of the mannequin
Coaching points:
-Focus on the pass and the pass technique
-Be confident punch through the ball
-Movement to get into line with the shot after I lay it off for server
-Decision of the save- catch or parry? Good and safe area if parried
-If ball doesn't go through the mannequin, positive reaction from GK
-Think about the movemnt and positioning of GK after failed pass, do they lose there head and rush out or drop and get into a good position?

Activity:
1- Dribbling through the squares of cones, but avoiding touching them.
CP- Use different parts of the foot. How quick can you do it?
2- Player goes side to side through cones after each sideways movement, there is a left or right foot pass. Progress to volleys.
CP- Punch through the ball when passing, same technique on both feet.
3- Player starts in middle of 2 cones, again he moves sideways where I will throw him a ball for him to volley back.
CP- Can he keep his body balaned when moving? Worry about one ball at a time.
4- Player goes over two hurdles and performs a half volley pick up back.
CP- Movement over hurdle doesn't have to be quick, get rhythm first and then get quicker.
5- Player will always pass back with outside of boot outside the cones, but inside in the middle.
CP- Don't be lazy on moving your feet, when we are passing with outside of the boot get outside the cones.
6- Player starts in middle of the square, when I call a colour he touches that cone and I punch a pass in for him to control and pass back.
CP- After touching the cone turn head towards me ready to recieve the ball.
Player will complete 2 sets of each exercise. 30-40 seconds each set.
