Positioning Game
Explanation
4v3 in one half, to simulate playing out from the back. players must progress the ball into the other half and then score in either of the two goals.
players are restricted to their boxes
ball restarts from the coach when a goal is scored.
Coaching points
Encourage players to make movements to support when there is pressure on the ball, and if there is no pressure can they exploit space to progress the ball forward.

encourage players to relate this to playing out from the back, and the positional specific movements.
