Practice Organisation:
*15x30yd area, with two 5yd channels the full width across at either end, as illustarted.
*9 players (incl. 4T's), 1 ball.
*Practice starts with: T player must transfer the ball across channel, it is then played into any of the 3A's who must combine with at least one other attacker before playing out to opposite end. If successful a goal is scored.
*If Defenders win ball: They can score into either mini-goal on either side of the pitch.
Progressions:
*Attackers cannot recieve the ball in the same square as another attacker.
*If it is too hard for attackers to get the ball out add in a floater player who can play for which ever team has ball.
Learning Objectives:
1. Movement from players off the ball/Rotation to create space in MF.
2. Body shape to receive the ball, half turn - try not to let the defender marking you see the back of your shirt.
3. First Touch
4. Reaction when ball is in transition from attacking to defending.

When to Pass, Dribble or Run with the Ball
Set up
*3v3 directional game.
*The game starts with both red and blue teams either side of the half way line.
*In order to score the blue team must exit the box crossing the red line in the opposition half and the red team must do the same in the opposite half.
*Once the team exits crossing the red line they must finish with their first touch. The defenders are not allowed to recover.
*If the attacking team manage a shot they will regain possession from the coach serving in the balls.

Set up
Phase 1
Players are set up in a diamond shape.
Player 1 starts with the ball.
Player 1 passses to player 2, then becomes a passive defender that presses the ball (Player 2)
Player 2 plays a one-two with player 3 around player 1
Player 2 completes the move by passing to player 4
Phase 2
The ball has now been received by Player 4 and the exercise repeats itself.
Player 1 - Becomes Target Man
Player 2 - Plays a one-two with player 4
Player 3 - Presses the ball
Player 4 - Plays a one-two with Player
