10x10 square.
1- Tech (unopposed)
3 players pass the ball around the square creating angles for the passer.
Simple passing drill - player have to combine passes together. Staying in between or slightly behind the cone when passing. Focus on not only good pass (following on from activation) but now also movement to create angles for the passer. - dont run away or go to close.
CP
- 3 steps of passing
- quick movement (either in between the cone or across to the open side)
- Where is the angle.
- Communication
2=Skill (opposed)
to progress into skill section add a defender into the middle. Defenders have to try to win the ball but are not allowed outside of the box. If they win the ball the loser swaps into the middle and becomes the defender.
CP
Same as above
- now try to encourage players to play the ball quickly, to negate the press of the defender. Meaning the movement of the ball to create the angles needs to quick also.
Dependent on the level/age can add in rewards/punishments. ie 10 completed pass = 5 push ups or star jumps for defender.
