The BIG Picture
At the conclusion of this unit, the pupils will be able to perform ways of turning and running with the ball in opposed situations.
WALT
Today we are learning to recognise space and when and when not to accelerate with the ball.
TIB
Scanning the area and being aware of space allows players to travel with the ball quickly when attacking. E.g Leicester City counter attack quickly through players like Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez.
WILF
ALL - will be able to develop and improve efficiency of movement when travelling with the ball.
MOST - will be able to use basic turns and be aware of space to move into.
SOME - will be able to scan the area and select the appropriate technique to travel with the ball .
