20m x 20m Central Zones could adjust depth to suit players 20 x 5m
Timing 12 - 16 mins
Swap defenders in middle every 60-90 secs
Scoring method
BP team 1pt for passing across central zone
BPO team 1pt for intercepting ball & keeping it inside central zone (controlled)
2pts for scoring in any goal - 5sec to score
BP team Ball restarts with players in either end
BP team to move the ball forward past the 2 x defenders in midfield
The ball travels in both directions
Only 1 x player allowed in a zone at a time
Players can switch zones with a player of the team as long as they do it more than 1 5m apart.
Progression
Step Up
BP team get 2pts for splitting the defenders (not around them)
Step Down:
Central players are not allowed to switch zones.

Triangle combo and finishing –
4 players per group – 3 players are active in the drill but rotate after every shot
Players pass with in the triangle before 1 player plays a through ball for one of the players to run onto and shoot on goal (player who shoots gets his ball after shooting and returns ready to join after next shot)
Group A first then group B following this pattern until a side score 10 goals to win
Coaching points
This is more of a fun but competitive drill so drive the intensity by pushing the first group to 10 wins
The losing side may have to do 20 burpees or 30 push ups but give an incentive not to lose
