Setup: 7-8 cones spaced about 3 feet apart. Players work in a race against other group to make passes through the gates at angles for speed. One or two touch is expected, three or more touches are too many.
Coaching Points: Move immediately after pass, pass to space for the running player.

Setup: Use Kwikgoal circles for rondos. Half players in one color and other half in different. Suit two players as keepers that will stand opposite of each other.
Directions: Players score a goal by getting a ball from one 'keeper' to the other 'keeper'. Keepers pass back to the color they receive from. Once players win the ball they work to one keeper or the other to start the process.
Coaching Points: Quick fluid passing is key here, create space by waiting to pull in defender just a bit.

Setup
Three lines up top, outside and central plus a midfielder joining in (D). Three defenders plus keeper.
Instructions
Player D starts play with a pass to wings (A or C). Defender on Outside applies light defense at first (50% to 75%). Wing needs to get to the side of the penalty area and look up for crosses. B and C need to time runs to be ready, staying onside.
Coaching Points
For running players not on the ball, use diagonal movement to both manage offside space and to keep defenders off balance. D as a supporting runner can be a drop for the wing or add to the central attack, when and why?
