Set up: same as earlier only add spots for the 2 and 3 also add a third attacker, player C ,who has no pressure on them
Exercise: Players A and B play the ball side to side with each other as long as there is pressure on the ball and or playing side ways then the 4 and 5 hold their high line shifting slightly side to side. As soon as A or B come freeand are able to pass or dribble forward, or the ball goes to player C, your 4 and 5 have to immeadiatly turn and give ground. running side on while maintaining vision on the ball.
coaching points: make sure the two players move together and dont become un balanced. read the attacking players intentions. body shape; always side on, never flat. maintain vision on the ball. communicate.
