Playing Through the Midfield
The field is split into thirds. The central third has wide neutral areas that extend 7 yards into the field on each sideline. One neutral player occupies each of these wide areas to support in possession and attack.
Each team has a set of 3 CMs, a ST, and a CB. Both teams have a GK.
Ball starts in midfield with one of the teams who attempt to keep possession until they can connect a pass to their striker. When this happens, one midfielder and the two wide neutrals can make forwards runs into the attacking third to support the striker. If the defending team stops the attack and takes possession, they can find their own midfielders to begin a counter attack. Wide players must make their way back to the neutral areas after a turnover.
Play two 7 minute games with 1 minute rest in between, rotate the neutral players after the first game.
Team with more goals wins the game.

3 Team Possession
3 zones: Central, Left, Right. One team in each zone.
Team in central zone is the “defending” team. Team’s in Left and Right zone maintain possession as “attacking teams”
“Defending” team send in 3 of their 5 players to attempt to win the ball back, and leave 2 in the central zone to intercept switch passes.. If successful, “defending” team sends the stolen ball to the far zone and occupies the zone they stole the ball in, including the two players still in the central zone. The team that lost possession transition to defense and chase the ball to the far zone.
Team in possession must complete at least 5 passes before finding a pass through the central zone to the far “attacking” team.
Teams earn points by completing the switch. Play a 4 minute game, team with the most points wins. Play 3 games, rest for 1 minute in between games.
