Description

Setup a 20m x 10m space, or similar in a rectangle shape based on numbers. 

Minimum half the balls required. 

Simple details to players such as: 

  • Look up before passing
  • communicate
  • don't pass until the team-mate has called for the ball
  • meet the ball, don't wait for it to arrive

Dyanmic Warm-up (10 mins)

Players get into two teams of 6. Balls are split in half, 3 for the red and 3 for the blue team. 

Players must find a free player from the opposite team and pass them the ball. 

Players from both teams without the ball are required to complete dynamic stretches on the move (open/close the gate, leg-swings, lunges, etc.) 

This continues for about 5-10 minutes. Coaches can add progressions such as touch-limits, weak foot only, etc.
