Practice Set up: 7mins
the image as seen above with 3 boxes of 4v2 (10mx10m)
A goal is scored if players pass the ball to their opposite player. If the ball goes out of play, a player on the outside needs to get a ball to restart the exercise.
Rotate the players ever 2 minutes.
Coaching Points :
Awareness : Players must be aware of their surroundings including the ball, space, teammates, and opposition. Based on these things, players must make decisions to either pass square, around or through.
Passing :Players need to focus on their passing over short distances with good quality. This can be with timing, accuracy, weight and disguise. This can be the first time to move the opposition.
Receiving: When receiving the ball, players need to ideally take their first touch away from defenders to create space and time to pass.
Support :Players should be in a supporting angle to be able to see the ball at all times. This is either between or to the side of the Defenders.
