- Keepers stay in their pairs. one keeper lays on their hip in between the flat discs and the other keeper has a ball in front of them. Here the server is to play a pass along the ground for the keeper to stretch and "dive" to. switch after 90s and each keeper goes twice, one on each side
-The main points we want them to take are
- Players should have a low body position and think about diving down and gliding to the ball rather than jumping down on it

Diving across goal
-Have keepers split up into 2 groups line up on either side of the goal. Each side takes turns to go.
- Keeper must shuffle across and touch the far post and then make a low diving save.
- Keepers switch sides each time
- Each keeper goes 3 times on each side

Diving across goal
- progression from the last exercise. keepers are back in their pairs. One keeper is throwing balls back and forth with the keeper in goal. On coach's command, the keeper must get across for a low diving save.
- Switch pairs each time and withing the pairs, switch roles each time.
- Looking for good footwork to get across the goal for the save
- getting body set
- diving forward
- catching ball if they can or a strong hand away.

Footwork and Handling
Working on footwork-Players split into pairs and line up behind the starting cone. On coaches command they go through the cones in the specified way.
- Players are encouraged to go 100% through the cones and jog back.
- 5 reps of each
(1) Slalom. (2) Side Shuffle left (3) Side Shuffle right (4) Straight through and side shuffle at the top
Progression
- Now players go on either side on the cones. One player is service and the other is working on their footwork. On coach's command the players go through the cones in the same was as above and deal with a service. switch after 5 reps each
- (1) slalom + mid service (2) Side shuffle left + along the floor (3) Side shuffle right + high catch (4) Straight through and around + low dive
