2v2 Scramble (25 mins)
- 2v2 Scramble defence exercise
- Split the group into 2 teams
- Each team gets 8 mins to attack and 8 mins to defend, points are accumilative across both games
- Game is started by defensive team passing the ball from point A to point B
- When the ball is passed all 4 players join the game
- Attacking team (red) looking to carry the ball down the pitch trying to score by carrying through the gates at the opposite end
- Defending team (blue) look to delay to win the ball back, player 1 that passes the ball looks to delay the 2 attacks whilst their support player recovery runs around the cone into the game area looking to support his teammate in winning the ball back
- If the defenders win the ball they are looking to carry the ball out the box at the top
- Game is over once the ball goes out of play
ScoringAttack = 1 point for a successful carry through the left hand gate, 2 points for a successful carry through the right hand gate
Defence = 3 points for a clean sheet, 5 points for a turnover and carry out the top of the box (they either socre 3 or 5 they do not add together)
