NCF Hitchin Session
Session Structure:
8pm - 5 min warm up in the centre which should be used by coaches to start putting players into their respective teams, within their age groups. We can start earlier as players arrive.
8.05pm - Start rotation through areas (each group starts in their normal training area and will rotate clockwise every 10min). 1 min break in between where needed but direct players to new area straight after the time slot is finished (Fabio will control time).
Rotation:
Roughly 13min per area.
Groups rotate counter-clock wise (A-B-C-D-A).
Pitch Geography
Area A(near exit gate)
- Match (merge 2 teams from the small sided against the remaining 2 teams merged) with condition:
3/4 touches max.
Area B
- Small sided (ideally 3v3) with condition: Enter endzone with ball in control (either dribbling in or receive inside area)
Area C
- Small sided (max 4v4) with conditions: all players need to touch the ball before scoring.
Area D
- Small sided with Gks and big goals. Free play, no conditions.
Coaching (Concurrent, NO TERMINAL FEEDBACK)
Emphasis on individual actions. Lots of opportunity to be on the ball so our emphasis needs to be individual players to showcase their ability across all actions of the game (passing, shooting, dribbling, running with the ball, tackling, etc...) while finding solutions for the problems ahead and being competitive throughout the session, accumulating scores from station to station.
