Passing Pattern (Building Out From The Back)
1. Player A plays a ball into player B behind the cones (defender) who receives the ball on the front foot. Player B plays a ball into player C for a double pass. Player C plays into player D who plays into player E. Players C and F are the double pass players. Players follow their pass in sequence of movement.
Progression:
-Play to the right
-Play to the left
-Every pass is a double pass
Coaching Points:
-Speed of movement off the ball
-Receive with the front foot
-Inside of the foot
-EYE CONTACT
-Check off the defender (cone)
Periodization:
-3 minutes work x 1 minute rest x 5 times each progression

Possession Endline Game (15 min)
7 v 7 two teams play possession game. Points scored by stopping the ball across the opposing endline. Play to 5 or 7 min. Switch sides & play again.
Variations: Limit touches or require 8-10 passes before scoring
Coaching Points: Head on a swivel, connect & move, communicate

Set Up: An 8v8 + goalkeepers is organised as shown above.
Four Corners
Technical.
Work on Receiving skills, dealing with the ball under pressure, passing and keeping possession and using the ball effectively. shots and headers on target.
Tactical.
Individual rolls and resposibilities. When to drop off and pull away to create space, link up play and movement with and without the ball.
Physical.
Develop Aerobic and Anaerobic capabilities of players. Game specific work.
Psychological.
Test the ability to work under pressure, scenario
Social
Encourage team mates and develop good habits.

-4 v 2 on 1 side of the grid. Once the 2 defenders win the ball they play into the other grid to play 4 v 2.
-Coaches starts with the ball once it goes out of touch.
